The celebration was hosted by Dai Xiaozhang, secretary-general of the Italian Overseas Chinese Trade Federation. Lin Jianzhong, the fifth president, first made a work summary report. He reviewed the efforts of the fifth president during his term to promote Sino-Italian economic and trade exchanges, safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of Chinese businessmen, and support public welfare. The work done in undertakings and other aspects, including donating to the earthquake-stricken areas in Italy, organizing various lectures and insisting on publishing the journal “Trade Information” to help Chinese businessmen understand the market, and co-organizing the European Chinese Business Forum with the Chinese Business Research Center of Tsinghua University to strengthen Communicate and connect with domestic governments at all levels to help Chinese businessmen return to the country to invest. President Lin Jianzhong expressed his belief that with the efforts of all members of the sixth presidential team led by President Chen Zhengxi, the Italian Overseas Chinese Trade Federation will become more dynamic and have a better future.
