Tourism in Thailand continues to be in full swing. Since the beginning of 2024 until November 24, the country has received more than 31.3 million foreign tourists, a significant increase of 28% compared to the same period in 2023.
China, the leading source market
With 6,096,010 arrivals, China is by far the leading tourism market for Thailand. It is followed by Malaysia (4,443,173 tourists), India (1,868,802 tourists), South Korea (1,647,328 tourists) and Russia (1,455,398 tourists).
Thai authorities have set an ambitious target of 35.2 million foreign tourist arrivals for the full year 2024. If the current momentum continues, Thailand seems on track to achieve this goal.
