The body of Fraser Wright, a 37-year-old British tourist from Swindon, was found in an open grave in Phuket on Wednesday morning. The tragic incident occurred while his family was on holiday in the popular destination of Thailand.

According to the first element of the investigation, Mr Wright left the Patong Seaview Hotel at about 10pm and went out alone. Not seeing him return, his family became concerned and reported him missing.
His body was discovered at 9.30am the next morning after emergency services were alerted. Investigators estimated he had been dead about five to six hours before he was found.

CCTV footage clearly shows Mr Wright climbing a fence surrounding a pit used for water network construction. Then he lost his balance and fell. While partially safe, protective barriers are not enough to prevent accidents.
