Laos suffered severe damage and losses from tropical storms Prapilon, Yagi and Sulik.
Typhoon Yagi was particularly violent and hit Laos in September, causing widespread flooding.
Floods have occurred, with Luang Namtha, Huaphan, the capital Vientiane and Bo Kio provinces being the most severely affected.
Meanwhile, the Ministry of Agriculture reports that the country’s irrigation systems have been severely damaged, affecting water quality.
