The Qingtian Association of Italy grandly held the annual meeting of the Italian Qingtian Association and the 2010 New Year Reunion at the Apple Orchard Hotel in Rome. More than 100 members and guests of the hometown association gathered together to talk about friendship, nostalgia and development. Counselor Tang Youjing of the Chinese Embassy in Italy and representatives of various overseas Chinese delegations in Rome were invited to attend the New Year group visit.
On behalf of the embassy, Counselor Tang Youjing congratulated the Italian Qingtian Association for its achievements in the past year. He highly appreciated the unity and mutual assistance among the overseas Chinese groups, their active participation in local economic construction, and their active integration into the local mainstream society, especially in La Que last year.
