Chinese traditional painter Zhao Xiaohai, the gold medal winner at this Biennale, takes a photo in front of his works
Dr. Wu Hongbin, the chief curator of the Chinese Ink Painting Exhibition Area, took the stage to accept the award on behalf of the participating artists Xue Song and Wei Qingji. Artists Xue Song and Wei Qingji won the Excellence Award for Comprehensive Media and Paper Works respectively.
Chen Chen, a young Chinese artist and a master’s student at the Academy of Fine Arts in Florence, Italy, came to the stage to receive the award. His work won the Excellence Award for Paper Works at this Biennale.
